I'm comfortable in the snow. I function well in it, I grew up in scads of it. Do I like it? Not so much.
The only bummer was today, the first snow of the season. Kellen is 17 months and one week old, so this would be the first snow that he would "recognize" and I wasn't home to witness it.
I sure hope Sue took pictures!

Just another day!
This anatomy class may kill me by the time it is over. I see Rob little and Kellen even less.
It's gotten cold here all of a sudden. I am not a winter person, never have been a winter person, makes me want to take up drinking.
If I started drinking NOW, possibly winter would pass quicker and it wouldn't seem so UNfun.
Kellen needs winter boots, Pepper needs winter clothes, and I need to hibernate until it is over!

Dachshund from hell
Never EVER was Tabytha ever a PITA! Pepper, he's like the king of the PITA's He is absolutely wild. And for the the eleventeenth time my husband has asked "Was Tabby ever like this?". NO, I TOLD YOU! Pepper seems to be a blind Dachshund on like a super warp drive or something. Maybe he's ADHD. Blind issues my ass. He can still chew everything under the sun and shit on the floor right after he's been outside for the last 20 minutes. And the little turd is FAST. Can he ever move. Sure he can't see anything but it's almost like he can be in 10 places at once doing 100 things he's NOT supposed to do!
My A & P book has the entire edge chewed, because honestly it was the only thing that kept Pepper stationary while I was trying to study.

Got some meds
Doing a bit better today. Got meds from the doc I work with yesterday. Persistant fever is still hanging around. I can handle being sick; the runny noses etc., but I cannot handle the fever. 5 days of anything from 100-102.1 and I've had quite enough thank you.
Of course, since I have NO energy to speak of, God decided to fry my laptop screen.
It's quite redneck to have your laptop plugged into a monitor, makes for a nice look. Bit hard to tote around I am finding.

Viral or Bacterial, what's the diff...sick is sick
That's how I see it anyhow. I'm sick, been sick going on two weeks now.
Had a big weekend, sickness and all, fever of 102, heading up the highway. Went to Laurie's got Saltar and Cher, jumped back in the truck. 5-1/2 easy hours each way and one flat tire later we got the horses home with the rest of our motley crew.
Still busy. Work, school, man-child. Hay coming in next weekend (it came with Saltar and Cher). Hopefully we can just get through the week and get some rest.
